Angel Aquino to star in Swan Dive's Until Music Video
If I'm a store today, I'm like in "soft opening" mode. If I'm a film, I'm in "test run" mode. I'm actually spilling some beans with you. There are many things that excite me in the next few months. I will have my exhibit this middle of August at iiiDEAS in Greenbelt 1 Area in Makati City. My line of shirts will be launched the same month in the same area. And next month, I will be shooting my next project: a music video!
But this isn't just a music video. My last three were done for electronic indie artists. The new music video is special because the music is close to me. (I still have Swan Dive's "Circle" old casette tape until now.) Many years after I encountered their acclaimed 1988 album, "Circle" - and six more albums in between - SWAN DIVEwill collaborate with me through a music video of their first single from their new album, "Until". The single of the same title is a beautiful track which Filipinos will love. There are talks right now to release their new album in the Philippines. (UNTIL is an Asian release for Japanese, Thai and Korean markets where Swan Dive is most popular.)
I'm thrilled to be doing this. We are right now wrapping up pre-production and we will soon do principal photography. Today, I'm announcing the cast and crew of the music video, "UNTIL" by SWAN DIVE. And I'm most excited to work with acclaimed and award-winning actress and TV personality, Ms. Angel Aquino (we were together in Beijing in 2005 as Philippine delegates to the 1st Filipino Film Festival there).
The rest of the cast are regulars to my films and we can't wait to collaborate again. Official press releases will follow soon after we finish the video. Meanwhile, let's take a Swan Dive. See links below to listen to their wonderful music.

WOW!!! This is super great news! I'm a major big fan of Swan Dive (From the Philippines) and I've been waiting for so long for them to visit the country. Hearing that a Pinoy director will shoot their video is such a big thing!!! I'm so happy for you! So lucky!!!

The song "Until" is not much like "Groovy Tuesday". It's more of "Goodbye September". "Until" is a song that anticipates of a long-awaited love. Exciting Karyl! Very exciting!

I've been 'bugging' them for such a long time to perform here!!! Bill keeps on replying saying that they just need someone to sponsor them or something. I think they're trying to get MTV... Not so sure...
OMG I love Swan Dive. I just know them through their songs "Groovy Tuesday" and "Circles", unfortunately I can't seem to find their albums locally. If you personally get in touch with them, you think they will sell their CDs, cuz I really wanna lay my hands on them. HAHA. You're lucky you have three of their tapes!
